ARP 9 3.0P, Electronic trigger

Modern weapon UDP-9 (Ultimate Defense Pistol) was developed by the american company Angstadt Arms and as a flagship is currently deployed in over 30 countries worldwide. The Angstadt Arms UDP-9 is a lightweight, compact AR-15 style firearm chambered in 9mm and fed with double stack GLOCK magazines. It meets the PDW (Personal Defence Weapon) parameters - it is compact and lightweight, ideal for fighting in buildings.

G&G ARP-9 3.0P is an UDP-9 airsoft replica. It is a very well made weapon, perfectly suited to the CQB.

The body of the weapon, including retractable stock, is made of durable polymer with a nice finish. The controls are the same as the M4 thanks the AR-15 platform. There are selector switch (pleasantly accurate) on the left side, ambi charging handle and shell ejection window on the right side - the access to the plastic high-quality hop-up chamber. Hop-up is adjusted using a rotary ring.

A special feature of this weapon is the magazine and its magazine catch, which is the same style as the AK - under the magazine shaft. The real weapon uses Glock magazines. The airsoft version imitates these magazines, but again, it's unique in design. The inner part of the magazine is divided into 4 separate parts, where each part has its own spring pushing the BBs out of the magazine. This achieves a large capacity of 68 BBs in a small size. Very interesting is also the folding stock, which has a space for the battery in the butt. Its internal dimensions are about 10,5 x 2,2 x 2,5 cm. The wiring is concealed in the stock holder and is terminated with a Mini Tamiya connector. The cable safety is accessible under the buttplate. The stock also has integrated metal QD inserts for the sling (1pc is also included in the package). The length of the stock cannot be changed.

The handguard is made of polymer with M-LOK mounting standard. On the upper side is located classic RIS rail with removable metal sights (laterally and height adjustable). There is a threaded cap on the gun for the silencer (standard 14 mm CCW), so you can easily install the silencer of your choice.

And how does it look inside? You will find there a reinforced gearbox with a blue cylinder and 8 mm bearings, the ETU unit, a piston with a first metal tooth and a torque-up gear set with the G&G High Torque engine. Hop-up chamber is plastic with rotary ring. The barrel length is 168 mm, we have measured the muzzle velocity of 115 m/s with ROF of 20 rps.

Bottom line, a very good "balanced" weapon - in size and look, as well as internal components. Just CQB ready.
